Our Program
The program here has always been one of the things that makes K-Prep unique. We provide a quality program for children ages 1 through 6. Depending on current enrollment and age, you will be able to choose from a variety of options for your child, such as:
- • Large and small class sizes
- • One, two, three, four or five days a week
- • Extended hours (9:30am until 2:30pm)
- • Before and after hours care available from 8:00am to 5:30pm
The program and daily schedule includes age appropriate activities which encourage your child’s exploration. Our lesson plans include creative ways of teaching the following:
- • Art and Music
- • Math, Science and Language
- • Reading Readiness
- • Large and Small Motor Skills
- • Food/Cooking Experiences
Along with lesson plans, we make arrangements for special visits to the school from professionals such as the dentist, police and fire departments, etc. There are also special events held throughout the year. Your child’s class may have a Thanksgiving feast, enjoy a visit from Santa, or prepare a special art project/song to celebrate a fun occasion.
