About K-Prep
K-Prep is a non-profit organization that has been providing quality preschool classes to Waukesha and surrounding area families for more than three decades. We serve children ages 1 through 6 and offer a 9:30am to 2:30pm school day.
K-Prep is a state licensed preschool that operates under a Director
and a complete volunteer Board of Directors. The Board is made up of local community members and parents/guardians who have a child enrolled in the program.
We encourage parents/guardians to get involved at K-Prep. Past parents have complimented on how connected they feel because of the volunteer opportunities here. There are many ways to help out, including social events, fundraisers, lunch time helpers, and classroom helpers too. Please ask – we would love to help you find an area to volunteer.
Kindergarten Preparatory Preschool provides a creative, fun and educational program while emphasizing cognitive development and socialization. We feel that exploring, sharing, discovering, experimenting and understanding are the ways in which children learn best.
Children at K-Prep have the opportunity to learn and grow through art, music, socialization and other academic experiences. We encourage a positive self image by providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere. We recognize the importance of the first years in a child’s life and that parents want their child to feel comfortable while being away from home. At K-Prep we believe we can help pave the way to a solid academic foundation, build self-esteem, and lead a child to discover the love of learning.
